DOG WALKER III: WEDDING SIEGE
"BULLETS & BLOWHOLES"
Dog walker Ben Carter is shocked to discover that his mom's fiancé Alvar is an "encantado" – a shapeshifting dolphin that seduces human women and preys on their flesh. He races to Minnesota to stop their wedding, leaving demon dog Toby back in Chicago.
Ben arrives too late to stop the ceremony, but when masked gunmen invade the reception, taking hostages and demanding Alvar's head, he is isolated alone with his new aquatic stepfather. Can the dog walker make it out alive with no inugami at his side? Can a dolphin that walks like a man truly be trusted? Who are these strange and anonymous terrorists? Lock the doors. Hide the wine. The wedding siege has begun.

Also out now: The official Dog Walker III soundtrack playlist! I organized this one like a 90’s movie soundtrack, with the songs-with-lyrics upfront and the score after. Seemed thematically appropriate. The first song is actually from the start of the end credits. The Ben Hur music plays whenever the elderly luchadors flirt. You do this when you write books too, don’t even lie to me.
DWI & II ON SALE: If you don’t have either of the first two, Dog Walker is free on kindle until the 1st and Dog Walker II is only $3 until the 30th. Great time to pick either of those up!
If you’re looking for a more personalized Dog Walker experience, I’ve got signed copies available on the Gorilla House website. Happy to write and/or draw whatever you want in there. Let me know!
NEW AUDIOBOOKS: I signed a deal with Patrick Trahey, creator of Sol Comics and writer of The XII, to narrate Dog Walker II. Should be ready sometime in the next few months. The chapters I’ve heard sound great. Details forthcoming!
WHAT’S NEXT: I’ve got an inugami-free novel I’m going to try and publish in summer 2023. I don’t want to make a formal announcement until I’ve got a cover and stuff, but you guys will be the first to know the details when they, uhm, forthcome. It’s completely unrelated but in the same action/comedy/fantasy/horror/sci-fi milieu I usually write in, so if you like the other books, I think you’ll like this one.
After that, a very in-continuity Dog Walker Christmas special in December ‘23, and at that point we’re outside of the window of time that I can predict from here. You don’t want to make real concrete plans for more than a year or two from now. This world is crazy.
If you read Dog Walker III (or any of them, really), please consider leaving a review on Amazon! Reviews boost a book’s rankings, which increase its visibility on searches, which increase its sales, which makes it easier for me to spend more time writing more books, more quickly.
Thanks!
